Starting with the very first Law "On certification of products and services", adopted by the Russian Federation in 1993, services have been classified according to codes. At the same it has been approved by all the usual moment "OKUN". His full name is:
"OK 002-93. National Classification of public services "(approved. Resolution of the State Standard of Russia from 28.06.1993 N 163), latest update which is dated 10.17.2013.
The perch contained a classification of all types of services - domestic, tourism, services, places of accommodation, catering - and of course, the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
"Our" section was divided into the following bigger groups:
- 017 100 - maintenance of cars;
- 017 200 - repair of cars;
- 017 300 - maintenance of trucks and buses;
- 017 400 - repair of trucks and buses;
- 017 500 - Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles;
- 017 600 - Other services.
But time does not stand still, the political course of Russia's accession to the WTO requires the harmonization of technical requirements, regulations and standards with European norms. This trend has not spared and classifiers.
In 2014, the new classifier was adopted, which called for short "OKPD2". His full name: "OK 034-2014 (CPA 2008). All-Russian qualifier of production by kind of economic activity "(approved. Rosstandart Order dated 31.01.2014 N 14-item) (Ed. By 05.26.2015).
from 01.01.2016 year - the period of transition to the new classifier was determined. However, the effective date was postponed by one year - from 01/01/2017 year. Entry into force OKPD2 cancels the bass. And now (until 01/01/2017), both of the classifier can be used.

The classifier does not consider the division of vehicles into categories (M, N, and the other set in the annex number 1 of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of wheeled vehicles"), using the terminology of "passenger cars and light commercial vehicles" and "other vehicles" .
Separation of the technological component of the whole is:
- Services for the conversion and installation of additional equipment;
- Services to "ordinary" maintenance and repair;
- Body repair services;
- Repair services for electrical equipment;
- Tire repair services.
Other groups of services are given in the table.
voluntary certification system for road transport (DS AT), approved by the Ministry of the Russian Federation, registration of transport. N ROSS RU.0010.04UT00, which employs GC UTSEPS AT, since the beginning of 2016 applies with the certification services new classifier.
Leaving the main groups and their codification without changing the System began to use clarifying wording, based on the "outgoing" bass.
