Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (Rosstandart) is concerned about the "ecological" scandal involving diesel vehicles of Volkswagen and BMW.

In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law of December 27, 2002 № 184-FZ "On technical regulation", with the purpose of the inspection, the requests were directed for provision of the necessary materials to official representatives of the manufacturers of "Volkswagen Group Rus» and «BMW Russland Trading "respectively.
After auditing, the decision will be made in the framework of legislation in power.
